Background of our cooperation
The southeastern United States is one of the world’s major peanut-producing regions, with the peak peanut harvest season from September to November each year.
To improve shelling efficiency and reduce labor costs, a farmer with a medium-sized peanut plantation who lives there contacted us, hoping to purchase several sets of peanut shelling equipment to increase yields and lower labor costs.
Pain points of peanut farms
This client’s farm has a large planting area, with peanuts harvested concentrated from September to November each year, requiring the processing of large quantities of peanuts within a short period.
If the shelling speed is too slow, the peanuts will have an accumulation, affecting drying and severely impacting peanut quality. Therefore, the client specifically requested that each groundnut shelling machine achieve a capacity of at least 800 kg/h.
Most flower-producing areas in the southern United States are open farms, with hulling typically taking place in fields or temporary sheds. However, these outdoor areas generally lack stable electricity. Therefore, our customers prefer diesel-powered systems.
