Project background and customer information

This client is a startup food processing company based in Lebanon, founded by a small team with extensive experience in the local food trade and snack distribution sector.

In recent years, the Lebanese snack market has experienced a continuous increase in demand for high-value nut products, with strong demand from grocery stores, street vendors, cafes, and small supermarkets.

Due to rising import costs and unstable supply, the client decided to shift from trading finished snack products to local processing, aiming to improve profit margins and gain better control over product quality and supply cycles.

Based on market feedback and analysis, this company anticipates expanding its business into the almond or mixed nut sector in the future. Therefore, they require a cost-effective, modular, small-scale coated peanut production line that can be easily upgraded for future business expansion.

Why are nut coating machines crucial for startup peanut businesses?

For startup peanut businesses, choosing the right processing equipment is crucial for controlling costs, ensuring product quality, and quickly entering the market.

  1. The profit margins for raw or roasted peanuts are limited, while a nut coating machine enables startups to produce a variety of flavored peanut snacks, transforming low-margin products into high-margin ones, thereby significantly increasing product value and market competitiveness.
  2. Startups typically face budget constraints. Nut coating machines designed for small-batch production are compact and have moderate power consumption. This allows startups to begin production without significant capital investment while also controlling long-term operating costs.
  3. Manual coating requires skilled workers and continuous supervision. For startups, labor shortages or operator instability can disrupt production. A nut coating machine can minimize human error and reduce labor intensity.
  4. Modern nut coating machines are not limited to peanuts. They can also be used to coat almonds, cashews, chickpeas, and other granular snacks. This flexibility allows startups to expand their product lines as market demand grows without replacing core equipment.

Project results and customer feedback

After the order was completed, we took a test run video and took pictures of the machine to confirm delivery with the customer. After the customer verified everything was correct, the shipment was sent to Lebanon.

Following installation and commissioning, the customer successfully launched their first batch of coated peanut products. Thanks to this scalable solution, this startup company has been able to further expand its business to include other nut products as market demand grows.

They recently contacted us about expanding their production line, and we plan to start our next collaboration soon. Please contact us if you have any customized needs regarding nuts.
