Walnut Oil Press Exported to Israel
An Israeli customer purchased a walnut oil press to process walnut kernels that were not suitable for sale whole into walnut oil. During walnut processing, broken kernels or smaller fragments, while still containing significant oil content, hold relatively limited value in certain retail applications.
For this client, the oil extraction process offers a practical solution for effectively utilizing these walnut materials. By integrating oil extraction into their existing walnut processing operations, the client can not only reduce raw material waste but also develop a new walnut-derived product.

Client Background
The client is engaged in walnut processing. During production, walnut fragments or small pieces—while still containing oil—are often unsuitable for certain retail applications.
Therefore, the customer is considering oil extraction as an alternative processing method for the existing walnut raw materials. This can reduce the waste caused by the limited sales specifications of these raw materials, and also add a new product form through oil extraction. Compared to continuing to sell walnuts as whole kernels, walnut oil processing allows for further utilization of this raw material.
Equipment Selected for the Project
The customer chose one TZ-180 hydraulic walnut oil press. The machine has a 4 kg barrel capacity and a rated processing capacity of about 20 kg/h. Its working pressure is 55–60 MPa, with a 1.5 kW motor and 720 W heating power

Heating and Pressing in One Machine
The TZ-180 walnut oil press combines hydraulic pressing with a heating system. Its heating power is 720 W, and the specified heating temperature is 70–90℃.
For the customer, this means the pressing equipment itself provides the required heating function rather than requiring a separate heating unit as part of the basic setup.
The actual operating conditions can be adjusted according to the prepared raw material and production requirements. For walnut processing, this is important because the condition of the kernels entering the press can influence how the material behaves during pressing.
Walnut Oil Press Testing Before Shipment
Before shipment, the machine was tested, and a video was prepared for the customer. This gave the customer an opportunity to see the equipment operating before it left the factory.
The order also specified a 12-month warranty, with 24-hour online service and lifetime maintenance support. The supplier provides assistance with troubleshooting and guidance on replacement parts when needed.
Packaging of Machinery for Shipment to Israel
Before being shipped to Israel, this hydraulic walnut oil press underwent meticulous pre-shipment preparation. First, the machine was wrapped in stretch film to protect its stainless steel surfaces from dust, moisture, and scratches during handling.
A wooden pallet (or base) was used at the bottom to provide stable support and facilitate loading and unloading by forklift; the machine was then securely fastened to this wooden base to ensure safe transport.
For components requiring crating, plywood boxes were used as the outer packaging. These wooden crates provide a robust protective layer, effectively shielding the equipment from direct impact during loading, unloading, and long-distance transport.
