Working principle of the peanut shelling unit
Step 1: Impurity removal
Raw peanuts enter the feed hopper and then the sorting screen. Under the action of crankshaft vibration and airflow from the suction fan, the heavier impurities (stones, clods of soil) are discharged through the impurity outlet, while the lighter impurities (dust, leaves) are sucked out by the fan.
Finally, the clean peanuts enter the air conveying system and are transported to the shelling system.
Step 2: Three-stage shelling
Peanuts enter the shelling roller I → Primary shelling
Unshelled peanuts enter the roller II → Secondary shelling
Remaining peanuts enter the roller III → Tertiary shelling
Machine shelling principle: Shelling is achieved through repeated friction between the rollers and the concave grid.
Step 3: Grading and separation
After the mixture enters the grading screen, the outer shells are discharged by the fan, while the kernels are discharged from the outlet. Unshelled peanuts are separated and automatically returned for secondary shelling. This cycle can achieve a shell removal rate of up to 99%.
