Almond Sheller Machine Line Exported to Armenia
Recently, an Armenian customer purchased a 1,000 kg/h almond sheller machine line from Taizy Machinery. The line integrates grading, feeding, shelling, shell-kernel separation, conveying, and kernel grading for continuous almond processing.
The entire production line is equipped with 3 almond shelling machines, 2 shell-kernel separators, and multiple lifting and conveying devices, providing customers with a complete almond shelling and processing solution.

Customer Background
The customer is an agricultural company in Armenia engaged in almond cultivation and nut processing. In addition to processing almonds from its own orchards, the company also purchases raw in-shell almonds from nearby growers for further processing and distribution.
As the volume of almonds increased, the company needed a more efficient processing solution. The customer therefore chose a complete almond sheller machine line to handle grading, shelling, separation, and kernel grading in one continuous process.
The customer selected a 1000kg/h almond processing line from Taizy Machinery to support continuous processing and provide greater flexibility for future production growth. The line allows the company to process in-shell almonds through multiple stages before the kernels are graded for subsequent wholesale or packaging.
A Complete Almond Shelling Solution for 1000kg/h Processing
The customer required a relatively complete processing system rather than a standalone shelling machine. Based on the required capacity, the solution was designed with a 1000kg/h processing capacity and multiple shelling units working together.
The almond sheller machine line includes:
- Hoist for raw almond feeding
- ドラム等級付け機
- Three electromagnetic quantitative feeding hoppers
- Three almond shelling machines
- Conveyors
- Hoists
- Shell and kernel separator machines
- Final grading machine
The front end of the production line is equipped with a drum grader featuring a 2.2 kW motor and a processing capacity of 1,000 kg/h. After initial grading, the almonds are fed to three shelling machines by three stainless steel electromagnetic quantitative feeding hoppers. Each shelling machine is equipped with a 3-kilowatt motor, thus achieving stable and continuous almond shelling.

How the Almond Sheller Machine Line Works
The processing flow is designed to keep the almonds moving continuously through the different stages.
Raw almonds → Hoist → Drum grading → Quantitative feeding → Almond shelling → Shell & kernel separation → Conveying → Final grading
1. Raw Almond Grading
The first drum grading machine separates almonds according to size before they enter the shelling stage. This helps prepare the raw material for more consistent processing.
The machine has a listed capacity of 1000kg/h, with a stainless-steel drum hopper and carbon-steel structure for the other main components.
2. Controlled Feeding to Three Shelling Machines
After grading, three electromagnetic quantitative feeding hoppers distribute almonds to the three shelling machines.
This arrangement allows the raw almonds to be fed into multiple shelling units instead of relying on one machine alone. The feeding hoppers are made of stainless steel and have a listed power of only 0.05 kW each.
3. Almond Shelling
The core part of the line is the almond sheller machine. Three shelling machines are arranged in parallel to handle the incoming almonds.
Each machine measures 2100 × 900 × 1300 mm and is equipped with a 3 kW motor. Three units were included in the customer’s processing line.
4. Separating Shells from Kernels
After shelling, the mixture still contains almond kernels and shells. Conveyors and hoists transfer the processed material to the shell-and-kernel separator machines.
The quotation includes two shell and kernel separator machines, each with a 1.5 kW motor. Their role is to separate the cracked shell material from the usable almond kernels before final grading.
5. Final Almond Kernel Grading
After separation, the almond kernels are transported to the final grading machine. This machine sorts the kernels into five grades, helping processors organize the finished almonds for subsequent handling, packaging, or sales.
