How does the peanut shelling machine work?
1. Dehulling by Coarse-Fine Grid Drum
After the machine starts, peanut shells are dehulled by the rolling force between the rotating coarse filing bar and the fixed intaglio.
2. Shell and Kernel Separation
The dehulled peanut shells and kernels fall into the duct through the grid, and the fan blows out the shells.
3. Gravity Separation
The shell-kernel mixture enters the gravity separator, where kernels are sent upward to the outlet, and small peanuts with shells are sent downward to the elevator.
4. Re-dehulling
The small peanuts with shells are conveyed by the elevator to the fine grid for re-dehulling until the entire batch of peanuts is completely dehulled.
