A Tanzanian customer recently purchased a set of peanut processing equipment from us, including two peanut skin peeling machines, a peanut butter grinder machine, and a color sorter.
The customer plans to use the equipment to improve the efficiency of peanut processing, from raw material sorting and red skin removal to further grinding and processing.
Customer Background
The Tanzanian customer runs a small but steadily growing peanut processing business. The company purchases raw peanuts from local farmers and processes them into roasted peanuts, peanut butter, and packaged peanut snacks for the domestic market.
Challenges Faced by Customers
As the customer’s peanut business continued to grow, manual peanut skin peeling machine became a major bottleneck. Workers had to spend considerable time removing the red skin by hand, while daily processing capacity remained limited. More importantly, it was difficult to maintain consistent peeling quality from batch to batch.
For peanut butter production, residual skins and unevenly processed kernels could affect the smoothness and appearance of the final product. For roasted peanuts and packaged snacks, the presence of discolored, broken, or poor-quality kernels compromises product quality.
As the customer wanted to increase production without sacrificing product quality, they began looking for a more efficient solution for peanut skin peeling, raw material sorting, and further peanut processing.

Peanut Skin Peeling Machines
To replace labor-intensive manual peeling, we recommend two models with different capacities:
HT-2 peanut skin peeler: 400–500 kg/h
HT-3 peanut red skin remover: 600–750 kg/h
The two machines allow the customer to handle different production volumes while improving the consistency of red skin removal. Compared with manual processing, mechanical peeling can also reduce repetitive labor and make the subsequent processing of peanut kernels more convenient.
Color Sorter for Raw Peanut Quality Control
A peanut sorting machine was included to help separate peanuts with undesirable color characteristics before further processing. This gives the customer an additional quality-control step for removing visually different or defective kernels and helps improve the consistency of the raw materials used for roasted peanuts and peanut butter.
Peanut Butter Colloid Mill for Further Processing
For the customer’s peanut butter production, we also supplied a peanut butter making machine for fine grinding and homogenizing the processed peanut material. This equipment helps turn prepared peanut kernels into a finer and more uniform paste, making it suitable for the customer’s subsequent peanut butter production process.
Wooden Crate Packaging and Shipment for Peanut Skin Peeling Machine
Before shipment, each machine undergoes testing, and the customer is provided with relevant documentation and video instructions to ensure proper installation.
Following production and testing, the equipment is packed in wooden crates to protect it from impact, dust, moisture, and handling-related issues during transit. Key components are securely fastened within the crate to minimize shifting during loading and unloading.
